Day 1 1-1 Relate Integers and Their Opposites      

  1. Bellringer:  5 a Day wk 1- Mon (10min)
  2. Engage: Video: Math Antics Negative Numbers (10min)
  3. Discussion:  Essential Question:How are integers and their opposites related? (1min) 
  4. Whole Group: TTW use 1-1 Additional Voc & 1-1 Reteach & Examples  to model (15min)
  5. Guided Practice  1-1 Math Literacy (6min)
  6. Student Independent/Homework: 1-1 Additional Practice 
  7. Exit Ticket: Lesson 1-1 Quiz

 

Day 2 1-3 & 1-4 Adding and Subtracting Integers

  1. Bellringer:  5 a Day wk 1- Tues(10min)
  2. Submit Homework in Envision Math XL:Additional Practice
  3. Review: Vocab using Additional Voc. 1-2
  4. Whole Group: TTW use Examples from 1-3  and 1-4 to model adding/subtracting integers(15min)
  5. Guided Practice  Practice and Problem solving p. 23, 24, 29, 30  (10min)
  6. Student Independent/Homework: 1-3 and 1-4 Additional Practice 
  7. Exit Ticket: Lesson 1-3 and 1-4 Quizzes (will finish Day 3)

 

Day 3 1-3 & 1-4 Adding and Subtracting Integers
