Monday: Students are given a summary of the chapters to fill in as we complete each section in our textbook.  However, some of the questions may need to be searched for online, as we are going out of the realms of the textbook to learn as much as possible about our state.  The students will need to have section 1 completed when they return to class.  Students should also complete the Chapter 1 Vocabulary located on Canvas.  These terms should be defined according to the textbook or as found on the internet.
Tuesday: There is a virtual assignment located on Canvas for the students entitled "The Geography of MS" Students may submit virtually through Canvas, or if the students needed a printed copy they may turn in the paper copy on Wednesday.
Wednesday: Students will need to complete section 2 of their Chapter 1 Summary as we completed this section of our textbook today.  Again, they may need to find answers online if they are not found in the textbook.  Students will also need to define, identify, or explain the importance of the terms located at the end of the chapter on page 20.
Thursday: Students can use this day to catch up on all assignments.  This year is very different for the students and the teachers and we are all learning new ways of teaching and learning.  The students are adapting and doing a great job!
Friday: Students will complete sections 3 and 4 of the Chapter 1 Summary packet that was given at the beginning of the week.  Students will also need to complete the virtual assignment located on Canvas entitled "Vocabulary Matching Sheet".  This is a simple review of the terms learned this week.  Again, any student that needs these virtual assignments printed is welcome to do so.
