We are working on argumentative essays this week, and the due date for the BIG assignment is going to be due sometime next week. With that in mind, students should begin working on work such as DOK questions and vocab creation.
NF book due Friday and book project due NEXT Friday

SREB finish google slides
If students did not finish his or her classwork, they will need to finish it over the weekend.
Task:
Student will take his or her theme essay and put it onto a google slide.
Students need to have 10-15 slides and plenty of pictures to help tell the story.
Also, if students decided to rewrite the essay to make it shorter, make sure the theme is developed thoroughly and is still identifiable.

Monday/ Tuesday work Reading students must complete the questions on page 22 using the RACE strategy. They must ALSO annotate the entire story of "The Monkey's Paw".
SREB students have the opportunity to write or rewrite their narrative stories.
Prompt: Re-write the ending of "The Monkey's Paw".
