2. Tuesday – Study vocabulary terms and definitions for the vocabulary test on Friday; complete the Multiple Choice worksheet questions 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (due on Wednesday, September 23).
3. Wednesday – Study vocabulary terms and definitions for the vocabulary test on Friday; complete the Open-Ended Response questions 1, 2, and 3 (due on Thursday, September 24).
4. Thursday – Study vocabulary terms and definitions for the vocabulary test tomorrow; complete the Independent Practice worksheet Part 1: Code Break and Part 2: Four Square (due on Friday, September 25).
5. Friday – no homework

A Day Students – (Assignment 1 – due on Friday, September 4) study Vocabulary terms and definitions for test on Friday; read the Readworks article “The Ecosystem of the Forest” and complete the questions for the passage along with the questions for the article’s vocabulary.

B Day students - (Assignment 1 – due on Tuesday, September 8) study Vocabulary terms and definitions for test on Tuesday, September 8; read the Readworks article “The Ecosystem of the Forest” and complete the questions for the passage along with the questions for the article’s vocabulary; Ecosystems and Changes in Ecosystems worksheet; and Energy and Ecosystems worksheet.

Photosynthesis Test – students who are on the A Day schedule will take their Photosynthesis test and Vocabulary test on Wednesday, August 26^th; students who are on the B Day schedule will take their Photosynthesis test on Friday, August 28^th.

A Day Students – (Assignment 1 – due on Wednesday, August 26^th) study Vocabulary terms and definitions for test on Wednesday; complete your Photosynthesis study guide and study the notes with your study guide along with the notes taken during class. Read the article “Who Are Citizens of the United States?” and answer the questions that go with the article. (Assignment 2 – due on Monday, August 31^st) Read the article “Drip-Tips and Other Adaptations in the Rainforest” and answer questions 1-10; Read the article “Low amounts of sunlight cause leaves on a plant in the rain forest to turn blue” and answer questions 1-4; Read the article “Seaweed and some types of bacteria are autotrophs” and answer questions 1-8.

B Day students - (Assignment 1 – due on Thursday, August 27^th) study Vocabulary terms and definitions for test on Friday; complete your Photosynthesis study guide and study the notes with your study guide along with the notes taken during class.
