Description
In 5th Grade English, we focus our attention on four main areas: Language (L.5.1-6), Reading Information (RI.5.1-10), Reading Literature (RL.5.1-10), and Writing (W.5.1-10). Throughout the school year, we cover every standard, always circulating through every one repeatedly, as well as implement Speaking and Listening standards. We are continuously working on building academic, social, and life skills.

Hi Hornet Family! I hope all is well in your neck of the woods with all of the crazy happening in our world lately. Here are a few enrichment assignments to keep your student on track so they don't regress and lose all they have worked so hard to achieve! Keep checking the school's website & social media for any news/changes regarding the status of school during these uncertain times. 
 
There are TWO ways to access/complete these activities.
 
1. You may print them off or go to the school to receive printed copies. These copies will be available at the school on Wednesday, March 18th.
2. These are located on our Google Classroom in which they may be completed through the student's account on ReadWorks actual website.

I apologize for not updating the class web page last week! I have attached the newsletter as well as Thursday's homework. I cannot attach Tuesday's Homework as it is personal to each student, so I cannot upload 60 individual assignments.

Tuesday - It is a review of the top 5 questions you missed on the last ELS test we took. Each student's review is different. It gives you the answers you chose so you will not choose them again.
