Description
Throughout this course, we will dive into the Common Core Standards in multiple domains: Reading Literature, Reading Information, Language, Speaking/Listening, and Writing. 
Standards will be addressed holistically throughout the course with emphasis being placed on the Power Standards (R.7.1-4) throughout the school year.

Throughout this week and the rest of the school year, we will be focused on remediation and enrichment of standards. 
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, your child will be participating in a Bootcamp tailored to their academic level with the goal of GROWTH for ALL students. 
Monday, Wednesday, Friday will be regular school days with students going to all classes. 
 
There is a possibility that classwork may not be finished on any given day. I ask that students be mindful of this and complete their work at home.

Although the homework sequence was suspended earlier in the year, homework until state testing will now be a necessity. Student achievement cannot just be focused in the classroom. Those concepts need to be reinforced in the home setting.
